FTOPS

busto This is just plain atrocious. If antes were involved it might not be that bad but otherwise it's just dumb. Trying to be a little too fancy in a spot that doesn't call for it. I'm blaming my gf for this one. She called right as this hand was dealt and I was trying to pay attention to both. When possible...blame the woman.

My bustout of event #1 was similar but until some pro tells me otherwise I'm ok with it. The villain had been stealing quite a few buttons and rightly so since the BB was playing 4/2. I felt he was raising with any two cards here and felt I should push with just about any 2. I don't know. Event #1

These are both plays that I never would have made a year ago and maybe I should stick to the old ways.

Who needs Six Flags?

Weeee....what a month.

I hit a rough spot during the month where I started questioning everything that I was doing which is obviously not the right mind set. It was really frustrating so I quit for a few days and went back and reviewed all of my hands. Though I did screw up some hands, many were just bad luck. I gained back some confidence and finished the month almost even.

I was in a tournament mood on Sunday so I played a few and was reminded why they can drive you nuts.
-Bodog 100k gtd Half of the field was gone and I had a decent size stack and lost AA to KK all in preflop.
-won a sat seat to FT 750k. I was too tired to play so I took the credits. My cable ended up going out later so I joined...
-Cake 15k gtd $20 rebuy 15 people were left and I had KK. I raised and got reraised. I pushed and got called by 66. A 6 hit the flop.

What can you do? No big deal.

I played some cash today and was up a decent amount but managed to waste some of it. My biggest problem is after playing too many tables for too many hours I lose focus.

Hand #1 Great flop obviously vs. Daut.

#2 This happened shortly after and I was ready for a big day. Meh.

#3 Not too happy about this one. Limp minreraises are usually big hands and his check/call on the flop is suspicious. He was playing 37/24 and I should have known better but he was in my head because of....

#4

So I ended up....grrrr

I was going to play the first couple of FTOPS events Wednesday and Thursday but I'm busy so I may hit up the 1.5mil gtd on Sunday. Later
