Welcome to the site. I'm not a blogger. Just a reader and commentor on blogs. Not sure what that means, but maybe your blogging and other new bloggers will give me inspiration to blog myself. You seem very honest about your game which is very cool. Look forward to reading and commenting.

Nice 1st post Doylestown. I respect the honesty on your part. Sounds like you want to hold yourself to a
higher standard by playing the game smarter which I also admire. My experience is that practicing by
playing regularly helps. In addition, developing a love for this game will provide passion. I am looking
forward to more posts.

Hello everybody. I decided to start this blog mainly as a motivational tool for myself. It wasn't difficult to choose TwoRags.com as the place to host my blog. After looking around a bit I noticed that a couple of my teammates from the 2+2 2006 MTTC were blogging here (our Team Capt. BadgerPro & Pechorin). In addition a couple other Team Captains that I played the challenge with and whose games I respect alot are blogging here as well (shaundeeb and A_Junglen). As well there are a number of other 2+2ers who I also have a great deal of respect for that blog here including Adanthar, nath, Bond etc.... If I left your name off it wasn't intentional, I've only been here a couple of days and haven't seen every blog that's hosted here.
So with that said I hope to use this blog as a place to hold myself accountable and to keep me motivated to play well. One of my poker problems has been not treating the game with respect for sustained periods of time and suffering the consequences that come along with it. If I meet some more good people along the way thru blogging I'll consider that a life reward.
Let me start off by saying that I am not a full time player. I currently play online on an almost daily basis when I have an hour or two to myself. Unfortunately I've been relegated to mainly cash games of late due to time limitations. I'm not particularly fond of cash games nor am I very good at them. I hold my own but they've been hardly worthwhile from a monetary standpoint. I play them because I'd rather do that than not play at all.
My poker passion is and has always been multi table tournaments. In truth I've been only a moderately successful player where multi's are concerned but I still really enjoy playing them and I hope to continue improving.
In future posts I'll share some specifics relating my poker background and experiences. In general I've been playing recreationally for much of the last 4 years, both live and online sans anything spectacular happening to me. I can only hope that there are many great times ahead.
