Quick stop for some poker at Argosy

Argosy Casino - Lawrenceburg
Crummy While in Indiana we decided to stop at Argosy before we headed home. I must say this is one of the biggest if not the biggest Riverboat Casino's in Indiana. There were two Poker Room's to my knowledge, a High Roller room and a room for the smaller cash games. I stopped into the smaller cash game and bought into the 3/6Limit game. I believe there were 8-10 tables in this room, with 3 of them playing the 3/6Limit, and 3 of them playing the 1/3NL. The rest were being used for a tournament they were having. The room seemed a little crammed with all of the tables, but once you were seated you were comfortable. The dealers were extremely nice and helpful, and they used two decks with an automatic shuffler. They had a T.V. on the wall that told you were you were on the wait list, and what games were open, being played and if there were seats available. If you were on the list the computer kept you there for an hour, this way if you left the Casino or didn't hear your name being called, then you could come back and would get the next spot. The Poker Cashier cage was outside of the room, this was kind of an inconvenience for people that had to re-buy.

Overall this was a great Casino, they have a lot of offer when it comes to poker and I would recommend anybody to take a visit and play some poker.
