How long have you played poker?

So, how long have you played poker? I have played poker about 5 months now, so I'm still an amateur but I'm getting better.

lake..2 years? dont you do the RR show?
I been playin'poker since I went to Baltimore with a friend and seen him win
almost $5,000..which was in late '05..since then I been wakin' up to my laptop and fallin' asleep with it on my knee caps...I have become a very good player...I am broke due to bad bankroll management.

RR show? Sorry to hear about the bankroll...that will get you everytime. That is probably the toughest thing to learn about poker.

I've been playing for 5 years and have just started making some money in the last year and a half. I was break even before that.

I've been playing since 2001-2002. When we where first learning how to play in high school somehow we ended up looking at one of my buddies mucked (AA). He figured that was not a very good hand for some reason...

I've been playing since about 12 years old. I can remember coming home from 6-7th grade and looking forward to our card games. I used to dream up all kinds of obscure versions of guts while in school. I didn't start playing in casinos until Moneymaker won the WSOP. Since then I've switched from homegames to casino poker. Cash games at first but now mostly tournaments.
