The Palomar card room is a 7-table, no smoking room located on El Cajon Boulevard in the northeast part of San Diego.  The room operates from 11a to 2a, Mon-Sat; 11a-1a, Sun.  The room is well-lit but offers limited parking; you'll need to park on the street or in the surrounding area.

The Palomar room is heavily oriented toward no limit.  There's a 3/6 kill game but the rest of the action is no limit with buy-ins of $30-$100 up to $1000-no max.  See the games info above for details.  No Omaha, pineapple or razz.  Note:  the room draws number of regulars here who know how to play; don't expect a ton of soft action here.

Wait time is limited even though the room is small; waitlists are computerized and it's easy to hear your name announced.  New players don't need to post. 

Palomar offers a $2k Gtd NL rebuy tournament on Sat at 10a.  $20 buy-in, $5 fee with multiple rebuys and add-ons.  Note:  you must sign up by 9:30a.

The tables and felt are in good shape and all the tables have automatic shufflers.  Dealers seemed to be efficient and professional although we found the floor staff to be more accomodating to the regulars than new players.

The room does NOT offer food or drink service but will get local food delivered for regular players.
