The Lucky Lady Card Room is a 7-table, non-smoking room located about a mile from San Diego State University.  This open, well-lit room offers limit, no limit and lowball.  The majority of the games we saw were limit; in contrast, the Palomar club, 3 miles down the street, is primarily no limit.  The Lucky Lady is popular with locals and the games include a number of good players.

Because of its small size and popularity, wait times can be up to an hour on busy nights and weekends.  New players don't need to post.

The Lucky Lady also offers a monthly (first Sun of the month) $55 buy-in tournament with unlimited $25 rebuys and add-ons; get there early, the tournament draws about 6 tables of entrants.

The tables and felt are in good shape, and all the tables have automatic shufflers.  Dealers and floor staff were friendly and efficient.  The room offers food and drink service.
