What a great discovery. Some friends at the meeting I was attending suggested we try the Cannery poker room, as they had gotten good reports, and we had a great time. There is a great feel to this room. The players seemed to be mainly locals and were very friendly. It is slighly off the beaten track, but worth the trip.

The tables and chairs are fairly new, not high line, but comfortable. There were no auto shufflers at my table, but a couple of other tables had them. The TV's on the wall were well placed for viewing. Plenty of room between tables. All in all, a very comfortable room.

The dealers are old pros, and contributed to our good experience, being on top of the games, moving them along, and keeping the players involved.

We were there from about 9PM to a little after midnight, and the waitresses were really moving. They came around often and brought the drinks quickly, and it was quite a full crowd.

We were four and were split up and seated at two tables very quickly. Their was a waiting list and the manager, who was a very on the ball guy, immediately arranged our games with others, according to our game preferences. According to my playing partners, this is the common experience at this room. Kudos to the Cannery hierarchy for their hiring practices.
