This is a really common mistake - you're deep in a tournament and terrified that this next hand is going to be for your tournament life, so you play it a little cautious, and some stuff happens, and you make a justifiable fold and are wrong when what you should have done is just been all in in the first place.

The fold when it gets back to you is actually not that bad (although I wouldn't), but it's really playing scared that got you into this situation. There are 30K chips in that pot when it's your turn to act - that's 20% of your stack and you have AK. Just go all in and (usually) win them.
