  Our quick thoughts
The OnGame network of poker sites does not accept US players.

FullContactPoker (endorsed by Daniel Negreanu) is part of the PokerNetwork, currently the fourth largest network. Of the various PokerNetwork sites out there, Negreanu fans will love his--the table graphics are a rich blue and the players images are the young, tattooed and hockey-shirted types you see hanging around at live tournaments. As well, there are all sorts of promotions to end up playing with Kid Poker himself. The site and software offers tons of features and comprehensive sessions stats, and there's plenty of ring game and tournament action for all but the heavy high limit multi-tabler. Sit n go players will find they seat quickly (at $30 and below) and offer 8-12 minutes level times depending on the buy-in. In addition, there's a good mix of MTTs with an informative tournament lobby. If you're a rookie, the $5 buy-in MTTs seat pretty much hourly, and if you're a better player, you'll want to play the $1000 Grand tournament. With no fee, 10,000 chips, 30 minute levels, it's a great MTT value. Full Contact's website is also worth exploring; Negreanu regularly blogs about his tournament travels and offer insights on specific players and hands. Again, if you're a Negreanu fan, this is your site!

Ring game play clears bonus? yes
You must earn 12 player points to clear $1 of bonus. Therefore, to clear $100 of bonus money, you must earn 1200 player points. You earn 1 player point for each $1 raked hand, so you'll need 1200 raked hands to clear the C-note--about 40 hours at a $2/$4 table.
Tournament play clears bonus? yes
You need 12 points to clear $1 of bonus, and you'll earn 5 player points for each $1 of tournament entry fees. Therefore, clearing a $100 bonus would require 1200 player points or 1200/5 = $240 of tournament entry fees or 120 $20 sit n gos. The clearance rate equates to a 42% rebate of tournament entry fees while clearing bonuses.

  What we liked
- The PokerNetwork software is fast and intuitive and with awesome graphics
- The SnG blind structure offers 8-12 minute level times and favors skilled players
- There are several daily freeroll(s) and good selection of NL tournaments
- It's easy to see bet and pot amounts and the size of other players' stacks
- Hand histories are web-based and easy-to-read
- The minimum deposit is $10 (via NETeller)
- The Java-version is a great choice for Mac users
  What we didn't like
- Flop%s aren't easily visible from the lobby; you have to hunt for them
- You have to leave the ring game table to add chips
- There are no session stats for SnG play
- If you bust out of a SnG, the table closes and you can't flame the girl that spanked you
- If you're using the Java version and close your browser, you'll be logged off active tables without warning
Why you should play the site
- Full Contact offers a fat 100% sign-up bonus (max $200)
- There are lots of promo tournaments only available to FCP players
- The $10 minimum deposit is enough to enter and play several different MTTs
- The software has lots of cool features and stunning graphics
- One of the few sites that offers private tables and tournaments
- It's Mac-compatible via a Java version
  For the ring game player
- There are plenty of NL ring games and a decent amount of limit action
- There are excellent table, player and session statistics
- It's easy to create private tables
- The PokerNetwork rake is above average and somewhat heavy in short-handed games
  For the tournament player
- The SnGs offer plenty of chips, gradual blind increases, 8-12 minutes level times
- There's a nice selection of MTTs with manageable fields (<300 entrants)
- The Grand MTT ($1000 buy-in, $0 fee, 10,000 chips, 30 minute levels) is a great online MTT
- The comprehensive MTT lobby provides detailed stats, position in the tournament, etc.
- The web-based tournament calendar doesn't work properly (as of Apr 06); check the tournament search feature at www.pokerroom.com; it covers the same tournaments
  For the value player
- The $100 SnG is a good value (2000 chips, 10 minute levels, $8 fee v $9 on Party and Stars)
- The Grand tournament ($1000 buy-in, no fee) has a very nice blind structure
- You can use frequent player points for tournament buy-ins
- The ring game rake structure is above average, especially in short-handed games
  Insider tips
- If you're using your Mac, don't close the browser windows; you'll be logged off of active tables without warning
- Spend some time on the Full Contact website; Negreanu's blog is worth reading and there are some cool forums and tools available

  Software review
The PokerNetwork software is one of our favorites, especially for tournament play. The tabbed lobby is simple and clear and provides complete info on both ring games and tournaments. At the table, you'll find stunning graphics, clear bet and pot amounts, large betting buttons and the most complete player and session stats we've seen. There's a Java-version that's not quite as feature-rich, but an excellent choice for Mac or Linux users nonetheless. One nice feature in the download version: when players are all-in, the win %s show on the screen; you can see immediately how bad the beat really was. We do have a couple of beefs--flop%s are visible from the lobby but only when you click on the table; in ring games, you have to leave the table to add chips (seriously); when you bust from a SnG, the software closes the table, you have to reopen it to watch the remaining play. Also, when you close windows in the Java-version, there's no warning that you may be leaving an active game. That said, we think you'll like this software...a lot.
  Hand histories
Hand histories are stored on your hard drive and are accessible real-time via the site's web-site. Note: the hand histories are very well organized; it's easy to recap the action. FullContact is compatible with PokerTracker (ring-games only).
