  Our quick thoughts
As of Feb 07, Doyles Room does not accept US customers.

The superb user interface makes DoylesRoom (Tribeca Tables network) one of our favorite smaller site/networks for ring game play. The lobby, table and cashier are integrated and easy to navigiate. At the table, you'll find the action is easy to follow with large and intuitive action buttons (note: the raise button is a RAISE BY button; be careful not to overbet). If you're a ring game player, there are plenty of active NL cash games and you can play up to 4 tables at once. If you're a tournament player, you'll find a wide range of inexpensive MTTs and lots of SnGs. Note, though, the blind structure is not posted on the site and the one forwarded to us by support was not accurate. That said, live and email support was very responsive and provide accurate answers to our other questions.

Ring game play clears bonus? yes
100 APs are need to clear $1 of bonus; (10,000 to clear $100); 100 APs are generated for each $1 of rake (divided among the plyrs in the pot pro rata). In a game with a $20 avg pot and 3-4 players/pot, you'll generate 1-1.5p pts/player so you'll need about 5 raked hands to clear $1 of bonus. Put differently, at 30-40 raked hands per hour, you'll accrue 30-50 APs per hour per table or enough to clear $3-5/hour.
Tournament play clears bonus? yes
100 Action Points are generated for each $1 of tournament fees paid. 100 APs are needed to clear $1 of bonus. In other words, 100% of your tournament entry fee is rebated while clearing a bonus. Fifty (50) $20 SnGs ($100 of tournament fees) will clear $100 of bonus.

  What we liked
- The superb software and graphics
- Plenty of loose NL ring game action at $3/6 and below…much of it short-handed
- Blind structure is the same for all SnGs, regardless of buy-in size and level times
- Lots of smaller buy-in (<$5) SnGs and MTTs
- Very clear cashier page, low minimum deposit ($25), high maximum ($100k via NETeller )
- The live support is responsive and knowledgeable
  What we didn't like
- No lobby stats to aid table/game selection
- Not much limit action at any level
- There seems to be an emphasis on rebuy & add-on, speed, turbo tourneys
- There are too many SnG choices; with fewer choices, we think they'd seat quicker
- The SnG blind structure is not posted on the site; we had to email support for it
Why you should play the site
- The NL games are crazy; no wonder Doyle still plays!
- The software and graphics are very nice
- Frequent player points (aka Action Points) are easy to earn and redeem for free-rolls
- The generous sign-up bonuses clear pretty quickly
  For the ring game player
- Action on the site is split roughly 30/70 full (9-handed) and short-handed (6-handed)
- There's not much limit action, but plenty of NL action at all levels
- The bonus clears relatively quickly; roughly 5 raked hands clears $1 of bonus
  For the tournament player
- Tourney fees count toward clearing bonuses; 100% of fees are rebated during the bonus
- There are a number of hourly NL MTTs and regular freerolls with smaller fields; note: the blind structure is pretty steep
- There's a good selection of satellites to live WSOP, WPT and EPT events
- The $5 and $10 heads-up SnG matches are expensive (fee of 10% versus 5% at other sites)
  For the value player
- The sign-up bonus is generous and easy to clear
- Action points (FPPs) are easy to accumulate and usable for entry into over 20 freerolls per day
- The guaranteed tournaments rarely offer overlays
  Insider tips
- The raise button is a RAISE BY button; be careful not to overbet
- DoylesRoom is part of the Tribeca network which has a lot of European players; peak times are 12-4p EST
- The blind structure forwarded to us by support was inaccurate; the one we've posted in our blind structure section is based on our observations and, as of Feb 06, accurate

  Software review
DoylesRoom (part of the Tribeca Tables network) offers some of the nicest graphics we've seen with large cards, clear suits, obvious pot and bet amounts; it's very easy to read the board and follow the action. The software itself is feature-rich with every option you can imagine. The player notes feature is particularly impressive...you can see all the notes you have on every player on the site. Of course, there are complete player stats available at the table and real-time HHs, although the HHs are tough to review real-time because they are constantly updated. One feature that we found annoying...if you don't select auto-post, the software repeatedly prompts you to do so. Also, note that the raise button is a raise BY button; be careful not to overbet. One nice touch--the site determines your best hand and posts it on the screen; if you fold, your hand remains in the lower right hand corner of the screen until the hand is completed so you can second guess yourself all the way to the river. The lobby at DoylesRoom is similarly impressive--the table, tournaments, cashier, live chat (it works!), etc. are all well-integrated. The only thing missing is flop%s to aid game selection. Players can post an image from a stock set of avatars (you can turn these off) and post a profile visible to all players. DoylesRoom allows you to play up to 4 tables at once.
  Hand histories
Hand histories are stored locally but are difficult to review real-time because they are constantly updated. As of Mar 06, DoylesRoom is compatible with PokerTracker.
